Downtown Cleveland Engagement Photoshoot

Originally from Brecksville, Torey had moved to Columbus, graduated from Ohio State and started her professional career. She started following Ben on Twitter to keep up with Ohio State news, but also thought he was cute and wanted to get his attention. So one December night she tweeted that she wanted to go on a date, and then went to bed. The next morning she was elated to see that Ben accepted. Three years later Ben proposed at the top of the Terminal Tower.

I provided the condensed version, but what a unique story that made national news! I was honored when Torey contacted me to be her engagement and wedding photographer. Moving permanently to Cleveland, Torey is now a merchandising manager for American Greetings, and Ben is a digital sports producer for WKYC Channel 3. Being huge sports fans, Torey and Ben wanted to showcase their city’s landmarks and sports teams in style, and with great spirit.

Our journey took us on a trip to First Energy Stadium, Voinovich Park, East 4th Street, Public Square and started at their favorite gathering spot, The Winking Lizard. I don’t think think Torey and Ben are capable of taking a bad picture together, as you will see by the genuine smiles below. It was a photoshoot I dream of, and produced one of my favorite pictures of 2018 (see umbrella shot below). We have formed a perfect team, and their wedding is destined to be one of my favorites of 2019.
