St. Bartholomew’s Wedding Ceremony | Aloft Cleveland Wedding Reception

I love hearing the backstories on how my couples met. I have heard several stories that coincidence just can not explain. Stephanie and Bryan both attended Strongsville High School, but did not know one another or cross paths. After graduation, they went to two different colleges. It wasn’t until a trip to Windsor, Canada with a group of mutual friends, during their junior year, where they met and starting dating in August of 2014. Six years later, in the same month, they became husband and wife.

Poor Bryan…he had a brilliant idea to propose to Stephanie. With balloon letters, he spelled out “Will You Marry Me” in the sand at Edgewater Park, and proceeded to take Stephanie on a helicopter ride. One problem…the pilot forgot to fly over Edgewater. So after the flight, Bryan drove Stephanie to Edgewater to see his surprise firsthand. The night was saved, and Bryan received the answer he longed to hear.

Working with Stephanie and Bryan on their engagement photoshoot and wedding day was so enjoyable.  They love to have fun, and a pandemic was not going to stop their wedding day. Sunny skies, wonderful parents, a glorious church ceremony at St. Bartholomew’s in Middleburg Hts., and utilizing the outdoor courtyard at the Aloft Cleveland Hotel for their reception, made for a perfect day and evening. It also supplied one of my favorite pictures of the year, that showcased Stephanie and Bryan’s lovable personalities and spirit for their hometown.

A big shout out to Justin Deierling of Canton Wedding Videos. Justin and Adam are always a joy to work with, and one of my favorite colleagues in the industry. Their work is truly incredible!
