Wedding Ceremony at the Old Stone Church | Wedding Reception at Music Box Supper Club
This wedding had it all…an enthusiastic bridal party, perfect summer weather, classic locations, and a couple that radiates positive and loving energy. A recent graduate from medical school near Columbus (and where Austin is from), Dr. Sara brought her fiancé back home to say, “I do!”
Our day began at the Old Stone Church, one of Cleveland’s oldest buildings. Photographer’s are limited to photographing in the back of the church or the balcony, but it does make for some grandiose bird’s eye views, as well as more candid compositions. Sara’s dress swept Austin off his feet, and that enthusiasm carried over the rest of the day to iconic landmarks such as East 4th Street, Mall C, Public Square’s Soldier’s Monument, and a romantic stroll through the weeping willows of Wade Park.
Having had three weddings there in 2019, Sara and Austin’s reception was the first time we photographed at the Music Box Supper Club. The food was incredible, the dance floor was packed all night, but we were able to steal a few minutes with the newlyweds for some spectacular night views of the Flats East Bank and downtown. The night closed with a bridal party champagne toast in the backstage musician’s green room. We love our job!
