Katie and Justin are proof that typical proposals don’t have to be the norm. As their workout run came to a finish, Katie went inside the CrossFit gym, where they first met, only to find Justin on one knee asking her to marry him! She may not have had perfect makeup and manicured nails for her proposal, but their wedding was picture perfect.
Katie’s sparkled tennis shoes set the tone for the day. Just look at the twinkle in her eyes and the permanent smile on Justin’s face all day. The classic and bright touches of the First Congregational Church in Hudson were a photographer’s dream. Katie and Justin specified that they wanted to have fun with their bridal party, but also wanted a private, romantic segment with just the two of them, and we accommodated this visually in our favorite outdoor location, Peninsula, Ohio. This village provides such great diversity of rustic features and natural beauty. Guests danced the night away in the elegance of Tangier’s fountain room, which was decorated to perfection, and need I mention…donuts!
Katie and Justin were a 4th generation referral, so we had the honor of having four of our previous couples in attendance at the wedding. Referrals are so appreciated and the backbone of our business in creating relationships. Weddings like this have a special place in my heart, because what starts as vendors at the initial meeting, ends with a wonderful “Rising Star” friendship I will cherish.
