Peninsula, Ohio Engagement Pictures
What a fantastic wedding day yesterday with Jessica and Steve! They are such a fun-loving couple who truly found their life partner. It prompted me this morning to go back to last year and share highlights of their engagement session.
A little history first. Steve wanted Jessica’s birthday last year to be an extra special surprise. While spending the evening alone together, Steve told Jesica to close her eyes, as his present was too large to wrap. Jessica was convinced it was a new kitten, a buddy for their cat, Matcha. Jessica opened her eyes to Steve on one knee, presenting a custom ring that featured Jessica’s mom’s diamond, who sadly passed. Steve received the blessing of Jessica’s brothers to do this, and the new Mr. and Mrs. Green became official yesterday.
So many highlights on our two-hour portrait session last year in Peninsula, Ohio, showcasing the towpath trail and the Everett Road Covered Bridge. It’s been a true pleasure working with this wonderful couple the last two years, and as another surprise, it turned out they are friends with two of my past couples. Precious moments that were truly meant to be.
