With Hannah and Alex’s wedding being two weeks away, I thought it would be a good time to reflect back on their engagement session last fall. I first met Hannah five years ago when she was the maid of honor at Morgan and Scott’s wedding. So, I was honored to receive a call from Hannah last year that she was engaged and wanted me to be the photographer for her big day.
For their engagement photoshoot, Hannah and Alex envisioned utilizing the textures of their new home town, Willoughby, capping the day with their dog, Ruby, and their favorite restaurant hangout, The Morehouse. This was my first time photographing in downtown Willoughby, and I was overjoyed. The cobblestone wall, train tracks, full-bloom flowers, old brick buildings and the riverbank served as perfect backdrops for a diversity of pictures, and I truly found a new favorite location.
Hannah and Alex are just a wonderful couple…confident, friendly, and so much fun to work with. They really pose themselves with little direction, and I am thrilled to work with them again on their wedding day.
