Berea-Midpark High School Senior Portraits

I often hear from clients how much they prefer candids, but the fact remains that most people are simply not overly comfortable behind a camera, making candids quite challenging. It is my job as a photographer to direct, while my subject looks natural and not robotic, to lighten the mood and encourage fun. In many ways photography can be a psychological approach.

However, I did not need this approach when I met and worked with Gianna. She has such a love for life, displays confidence, and was so comfortable behind the camera, without even knowing. It made my job super easy, where I could capture Gianna’s true essence, and let a story develop naturally before my eyes. Her session at Berea Falls and Coe Lake was loaded with candid moments as a result, and we even ended the session with a few portraits in her graduation cap and gown.

Gianna graduated from Berea-Midpark High School where she played basketball, and excelled in the books with a 3.8 GPA. Gianna is starting her collegiate career at Tri-C in nursing. With her passion in life, I know she is going to go far, and I hope to work with her again.
